AIESEC is an international organization with offices in more than 120 countries, thousands of young people seek the opportunities that companies, for internships, and other organizations such as NGOs, for volunteering, offer them. All this supposes the management of an infrastructure that has been developed for more than 60 years and that we now channel through our Opportunity Portal , managed by our international organization.

This forces us to function in a coordinated way in departments within the different committees in the different cities where we work (in Spain we are in Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Seville, Santiago de Compostela, Zaragoza and Granada , although there are no barriers to working with others points of the respective autonomous communities), coordinated by a national organization that makes possible the development and sustainability of our activity in the long term. We try to operate as a company does, with specific objectives, deadlines and teamwork, and that is exactly what we expect from the young people we interview for internship offers.

With regard to Spanish companies, our main agent of interaction with them are our Business to Business ( B2B ) departments, which are in charge of contacting them and presenting our organization to them so, if we fit in with values ​​and objectives, initiate a collaboration of the that both benefit. Our experience tells us that these collaborations have been and can be productive and effective , since they add value both to the company, as well as to young people, and to AIESEC as an organization. Right now we structure our offer to companies in the following approaches:

Global Talent (GT): it is an internship model between 6 and 18 months. We seek to offer young people experiences of the profiles that we already explained in this article , in which they are incorporated into the production process. With us, companies access our thousands of candidates from all over the world, counting on AIESEC members from their places of origin and ours to filter candidates according to a profile of expectations that the company creates, assistance in visa management and other procedures, interviews, reception and accompaniment of the young person during their stay in Spain.

Global Entrepreneur (GE) : Global Entrepreneur is the format that best suits the type of experience we want to provide, between 6 and 18 weeks . At GE we do not look for positions in which the young person is incorporated into the usual production process of the company, but rather that they are entrusted with a non-crucial but strategic project, carried out by a motivated young person, with a certain level of prior knowledge and with the collaboration of the company, within three months. The company also has, as in GT, with our support for the selection of candidates based on a defined profile, assistance to the young person who comes on arrival and during their stay.

We refer to projects such as:

-Market study for a possible internationalization of the company

-Development of software, apps, websites , or collaboration with a part of them

-Planning of internal projects, internal analysis, strategic support to the management

-Creation of marketing and sales strategies for specific products or services
