PROJECT DETAILS
The social project Gira Mundo works with workshops and classes on cultural diversity, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and citizenship to create an environment of inclusive education through actions of culture, information and fun. This projects enables organizations working with young people and children to foster an environment of discussion about global issues.
ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES
As a volunteer, you will:
- Work in a team of international volunteers to plan and deliver creative workshops and classes about the themes presented above.
- Attend to weekly meetings for project planning and tracking of the activities performed
- Attend to the online and presential Incoming Preparation Seminars andto specific training throughout the project, as well as to official AIESEC events.
- Represent your home country in the AIESEC Global Village
- Act with commitment, ethics and pro-activity in all performed actions
LOGISTICS
- Before your pr0ject starts , AIESEC will deliver training to help prepare you for your role and life in Brazil
- The local committee also wants to make Brazilian dance classes available and will provide you with a local “buddy” to help make your transition into the culture easier.
- Free Portuguese classes
- Transport: Transporation from the airport and to work will be provided
- Visa: None for stays less than 90 days
- Housing and Food: Both provided (1 meal)
- Additional Fee by Host Country: Yes (€55)
