MADRID, Monday, April 18, 2016 – YouthSpeak Forum organized by AIESEC in Spain on May 6 at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSI) is the event that brings together young people, companies and organizations to support the Development Goals Sustainable development of the UN through its dissemination and implementation projects.

YouthSpeak Forum is the global initiative carried out by AIESEC in which young people are given a voice to express their opinion and make decisions on global issues. Following the report collected through a survey completed by 42,000 users from more than 100 different countries in 2015, AIESEC and the United Nations met last December in a historic summit where AIESEC was designated as the organization of young people responsible for giving meet and move young people about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (ODS), 17 Goals as the achievement of the Millennium Goals in which all countries without exception are involved in some way in eradicating poverty, ensuring prosperity and preserving the planet.

YouthSpeak Forum has a one-day agenda format in which personalities from different sectors (public, private, entrepreneurship and civil society represented by youth) through inspiring talks, workshops and project design spaces will be able to create projects of diffusion and commitment towards the SDGs.

We have the participation in the Inspirational Talks of Miguel Ángel Moratinos – Director of the Spanish Sustainable Development Network and former minister–, Agustín Delgado – Director of Innovation and Sustainability of Iberdrola–, Izanami Martínez – CEO Doctor24 and President of the Spanish Association of Startups – and Joan Manual Sanchez – global head of collaborations at AIESEC. For the part of the Workshops, IE Business School, Everis, Manpower, Iberdrola, Uniplaces and EOI will present us with practical cases of CSR projects carried out that bring the SDGs closer to their business models and our country. Finally, in the Action Space there will be a space for creating projects in the Education, Social Media and Media sectors together with IE Business School, Iberdrola and Atresmedia respectively.
